When you are a caregiver, it is often difficult to practice self-care. First-Responders often do not acknowledge the trauma, moral wounding, and compassion fatigue they experience while doing the work to help others. Associated feelings of guilt and in some cases, shame can turn to avoidance and hyperfocus on the work. Unfortunately, that might work for robots, but as humans, ignoring our own wounds will begin to harm many parts of the life we work so hard to have. The recent pandemic has caused additional wounding and high levels of burnout. If you are interested in supporting your team or if you are a first responder and caregiver who would like to gather a group of your friends/colleagues in the field and begin healing with intention, please contact us today about our Love in Action Workshop.
Gather a group of your colleagues who need a non-judgmental space and a community of support where you can be authentic, then please reach out to us today (8-20 participants).
