Being a caregiver often makes self-care challenging. First-responders may not recognize the trauma, moral injury, and compassion fatigue they endure in their efforts to assist others. Feelings of guilt, and sometimes shame, may lead to avoidance and an intense focus on work. While this may suffice for robots, humans cannot afford to neglect their own wounds without it affecting various aspects of the life they strive to maintain. The pandemic and its aftermath have exacerbated these wounds and heightened burnout levels. If you wish to support your team, or if you're a first responder and caregiver wanting to bring together friends or colleagues to start healing purposefully, reach out to us about our Love in Action Workshop today.
If you and your colleagues are seeking a non-judgmental space and a supportive community where authenticity is valued, please contact us today. We welcome groups of 8 to 20 participants.
